Amitabh was great. the movie itself looks rediculous infront of Sholay. As Ramesh Sippy(director of sholay) said, ramu is being brave and stupid at the same time.

WORST MOVIE AFTER BLAIRS WITCH PROJECT..
Bad performances all over it and bad music, bad directions, bad score... NOTHING POSSITIVE about it.. makes it one of the worst films in the history of worst films..
The movie opens so bad that you will just loose the interest at that very same moment and the shock is, it continues to be like, i actually fell asleep watching this and that to be dont happen often..
Directed by one of the best directors and turns out to be his worst film ever and this case, amitabh just went over the top on this film..

MCT:September 12, 2007I litrally shocked when i watched this movie and i couldn't make myself believe that its done by one of the best directors of Indian cinema. i lost my interest in just 10 mins.
1000s of flaws and most of all scene to scene copy of sholey. how can u think of making another movie in a same cinema on a same topic and same scenario. give me a break, people aint blind.
apart from new talents, what has happened with the seniors i got stuck on Ajay's performance. he is a well known actor everybody would agree with it but he really messed up with his given role.
and where all these shown villages exsist where girls wear jeans, shots n skirts.. huh!
people were absolutely not ready to watch a pathetic remake of such a blockbuster of all times.
RGV should be ashamed on his pathetic job.
in my rating, all in all one star goes to Amitabh bachchan. i wont give even a half star to this movie. -
