It was ok. I like movies where it's not "obvious" that the actors are "acting". Some parts flowed like that and others felt "staged..."so that's why it's only "ok".
as i really like martin lawrence, i liked this movie wich is like the mighty duck ( 1992) but in a basket way lol. as i loved the hockey one, i did love the basket one too, so if you like sports and martin lawrence, dont miss that one :)
All the usual cliches bounced around in this movie. Misfits turned winners, problems fixed in a short amount of time, everybody learns something, blah blah. What makes this a fun movie is the bits you get from the cast, Martin of course Breckin, Horatio, Megan, Patrick, Fred and the kids.
Look Martin Lawrence really is nothing more then the poor man's Chris Rock and hell this movie is even worse then most Chris Rock's horrible movies. If you have this lying around somewhere throw it out and rent Space Jams. Micheal Jordan and the Looney Tunes can beat this movie any time of the f*cking week.
Please, I'd love to know why on earth they bother making shit like this. The plot is awful and so is the acting. Another crap Hollywood film only out there to make money.
This was a super cute movie. One of those feel good all over movies! I would rcommend watching this one if you want a few good laughs! I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Oh, man...will this guy ever go away? This is yet another crappy vehicle for the ever annoying Martin Lawrence. He is terrible as usual and the film itself completely unfunny and clichéd. The kids were alright but they are the only good thing about it. Not worth the time or the effort.
Not a horrible film, it's just not a good one, however it seems to spark up enough laughs to get 2 stars from me. I'm sure some of you will have more mercy on it. Martin Lawrence should only be doing stand up comedy, because his style just doesn't work on camera.
I nominate this for one of the worst movies ive seen all year. Its horrible, not the slightest bit original or funny. This generic waste of money has the usual characteristics which make those 'loser sports team which go pro' movies. One to miss.

I found "Rebound," the so-called comedy from Steve Carr (who gave us Daddy Day Care and other kiddie flicks) to be tedious, boring and pretty damn stupid. Skip this one!
