What other and better way is there to brake racial lines, than making a sports drama? Right now, I can't come to think of any other ways. Sports is a perfect way to make strangers do anything for you and especially the team.

A little too preachy and schmaltzy at times. Held together by Will Patton under playing his role. Smart choice rather than go up against Denzel.
Remember the Titans is truly touching with inspiration and enthusiasm, even with a flatline of hype from the performance, it still was an inspiring sports success that is based on the legendary iconic team. A-: Great.
it is a good movie. But what movie of this specific type isn't? There are better ones like We Are Marshall. But the plot seems to have been well thought through and there were good conflicts and everything in the movie meshed together well.
I always love a good story where people have to overcome unsurmountable obstacles. This is truly an inspiring movie.
