The story does a good job of involving the viewer without being overlyheavy. You genuinely become interested in the players as well as the larger background of integration. Put together nicely.
This is a great movie it shows that a team can work together no matter their diffrences or color of skin. It takes more than a few persons to may a team.
This is just a beautiful film, in all its wonder and excitment, and with the underlining contention of racial difference it makes this a most thrilling watch.
Everytime I watch the ending scence, when Bertier, played by Ryan Hurst , is hit by the car and is unable to walk. The scene where he tells the nurse that Julius played by Wood Harris, is his brother always makes me cry, but not as hard as the finishing scene. Which want spoil for those who haven't seen it.
It is a must watch, espicially for the girls out there who dislike sport related movies, this will completely change your opinion, not mention you get to see a young Ryan Gosling.
One of the better high school football movies out there. Not angled towards sex or football worship like others in it's genre. Really powerful and it's hard to imagine living life back in that day. Denzel Washington always seems to play a powerful role. Good movie, near perfect to me
An outstanding movie of inspiration and rising above racism. Not to be compared with We are Marshall however. Two different stories and backgrounds. This is a must see. One you can watch with the family.
Head Coach Herman Boone (Denzel Washington) needs Bill Yoast (Will Patton) his Assistant Head Coach but he refuses Boone's offer of a position as assistant head coach to change his mind. The football team goes on to win the state championship.
In my opinion, one of the best sports movies of all time. A true story at it's best with an amazing, unknown cast. And as for Denzel Washington, he very much filled his roll with spirit and much determination! It was a joy to watch!
The tons of comparisons to the hugely acclaimed "Coach Carter" may have pulled this potential flick down.
It's still considered to be a good movie, mainly due to the formidable Denzel Washington performance.
Julius' and Gerry's relationship was really profound and special and was the essence of the whole story and showed the success of coach Boone bringing whites and blacks together.
super buena movie a mi me encanto0o
se me hace muy original sincera y claro0o todo0os salen muy bn (rev) jijiji, bueno espero0o y sigan haciendo pelis chiodas
What an amazing movie. Sports movies usually don't catch my attention, but this one was so inspirational and beautifully done that one cannot help but enjoy it.
Okay, definatley one of the best movies I've seen. Even though theres been many. The act of whites against blacks was and still is outrageous. This movie allows you to realize how cruel humans can be. It made me cry, especially the ending.
Remember The Titans by no means creates anything new but it does give you another strong racially motivated sports drama. With main stars Denzel Washington, Ryan Hurst and Will Patton all put in good performances but keep an eye out for thos who have gone onto big things like Ryan Gosling and Hayden Panettiere.
