Great action sequal with more slow motion and less horror - staying true to the games in many ways...

Following a rarely used theme of unwelcome, sinister power, very good film, I found it to be as good as the first.

Movie was great. The first one was better but this was also good too. Surprised she was actually alive after the first movie. This time there was two women but Alice is still better.

I LOVE the games, and these movies, save "Extinction" follow the game to a "T", if you dont understand the games, the movies will fill in th blanks.

The trouble with video game movies is the tedium of actually figuring out what will happen next, according to the director and story. This one is just off somehow.

Cool movie. Slight improvement from the 1st movie, but still lacking in some areas. The pace slows in the middle. Still good cos of the zombies and Nemisis,of course.

Oh yeah, now this was cool. Popping those zombies and the final fight between the 2 friends/monsters. Totally game-like!

I know a lot of people hated the second installment of the Resident Evil movie series but people... GET A GRIP!!! The movies were NEVER intended to follow the EXACT story line of the video games... I mean come on! Who's to say that nothing else was going on while you were playing the story line of the game? People just need to keep a more open mind and maybe they will be more grateful of the movie. All in all, it was a good sequel and it stuck to it's OWN storyline fery well. :)

An enormous dissapointment; I actually prefered the first one (and that's a little bit bad because of W.S. Anderson).

You know what? Not so bad. In fact, this is a major step up from traditional video game to movie fare. Its still far from perfect, couple of bad plot choices, innefects fight sequences that zoom in too far on the characters so you cant see whats going on properly. But still, not bad indeed. Sick violence, black humor, Milla Jovovich. Take THAT Uwe Boll.

Justins Best Bit: Its very rare Ill even consider a "best bit" for a video game movie, but this one earned it by not being completey crap. The zombie dogs and the grizzly uber zombie type dude look fantastic.

I watched this again last night cos i wasnt sure which one of the three is my favourite. Good to see the Nemisis in this one so thats one up. The Nemisis looks exactly like the game Nemisis. A lot more zombies in this and its set in the city so its more open. Its more of an action film than a zombie film at times. Thought some of the stunts were a bit much but i really liked the descent down the building that was cool. yeah am pretty sure the first one is better now but i still liked this. Extinction is way better than this.

The 2nd chapter finda Alice out of the umbrella headquarters only to be a test subject of the company. The story of the movie taking place in Raccoon City just didn't work as it did in the game. The locations that the film was shot in didn't look right and the feel just was not there.

Even though it didn't feel right the film was treated to some video game names like Carlos Oliviera and Jill Valentine but still it couldn't save the film. The visual effects were a tad bit better then number 1 but when it came to the action sequences I was just ashamed about it.

Every piece of the action that was in this movie was completely fake and was complete nonsense. One part where Carlos dives out of a helicopter with a cable attached to his waist shooting down zombies was just dumb.

When it came to nemesis the film just gotten more rediculous. The entire creature looked fake and the fact Anderson written him out as a robot was a bad part on his behalf. Even if it was rediculous I did enjoy the action segments where Alice beat the crap out of him and what not.

This film was a somewhat disappointment and was kind of a shame that it was made. If you watch this approach with caution.

This is why alot of video games shouldn't be made into movies unless the company of the video game makes it themselves.
