And on the topic of "horror movies that don't contribute much in any sense"...
I really cannot think of anything constructive or interesting to say about Rest Stop. It's dull and the ending is infuriating. My friends and I had more fun discussing the heroine's big chin instead ...( read more)

started off okay, with some homage to duel but quickly descended into what we've all seen too many times before. it just tries to copy texas chainsaw... and it's not a good attempt. fairly poor

Pretty standard genre fodder that offers nothing you haven't already seen in better movies. Still, aside from its unlikable heroine and unpolished story, Rest Stop isn't all bad, particularly in the second half when the action picks up. It's not terribly creative, but gorehound...( read more)

Completely illogical script, many "went down the wrong road" cliches. Small setting that makes for the only genuinely jarring emotions. Too many plot twist jump-scare combos. Photography is a little more considerate than expected but on par with anything else and offers no innova...( read more)

This movie was absolutely hysterical. Even the alternate endings and extras were funny, but as a testament to its genre it fails miserably.

One of the most ridiculous pieces of gutter trash i've ever seen, it's a disgrace to American Horror. The only redeeming quality was the fact that you get to see Joey Lawrence tortured beyond belief. First he gets hit by a pick-up truck, then gets his legs run over by the same tr...( read more)

September 22, 2007i totally agree with rachaelnabbs. this movie is terrible and there is no way anyone in their right mind would find anything scary or realistic about this movie. it was poorly acted, very cliche. overall, i think it never should have been made and (ugh) never should have been released to the general public. that was so bad i think my eyes and memory have been scarred for life (in a bad way).
>sorry for all you people that actually thought it was good< -

July 1, 2007Weak acting and cliche plot. Nothing to like about this movie. I kept waiting for Joey from Blossom to way 'WOAH!', but it never happened.

June 28, 2007I saw it three times just to see what I saw in it the first time. It had poor acting and was not sick or scary to me.
