Unlike the other series entries, which claim to be fact-based, this film is total fiction. The tale is set in a tiny fishing village near the title tributary. A hurricane is coming and the town prepares for it. Meanwhile a rumor circulates that a photographer has captured the mysterious creature, believed to be a mankiller, on film. This is surprising because the townsfolk believed that the creature disappeared many years before. The story rouses the curiosity of a few kids who follow the photographer back into the dark swamp. Unfortunately, they get trapped by the storm. Fortunately, the "killer" appears and helps them survive and return to safety. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
