I loved this movie! Stallone is so out of character and does an amazing job as he has the funniest moments esp singing old macdonald! This movie is hilarious and a fun one to watch.I love all Sly's movies and this is him at his funniest.

Not exactly brilliant film-making, but strangely sweet in its intentions, and since I'm an old Dolly Parton fan (and I've always kinda liked Sly's movies, too) I can't help but include this old "gem" in my list.

MCT:May 29, 2008I love STALLONE,,always have,,when i saw him in this ,i had to laugh ,,because what a complete opposite side of character he played ,,never expected this one!,,it wasn't the best movie out there ,it was simple,,but ,was just nice to see the actor I love ,and Dolly is great ,but if they continue to make simple movies ,i will draw the line lol..:)

LOTS OF PEOPLE NEVER LIKED THIS MOVIE BUT I LOVED IT DOLLY WAS GREAT AS ALWAYS AND HER SONGS ARE PURE HAND CLAPPING COUNTRY MUSIC SONGS! ! IF YOU LIKE MOVIES WITH COUNTRY MUSIC IN THEM THEN YOU BETTER NOT MISS THIS ONE !

MCT:August 25, 2007Saw this trapped on an airplane over the Pacific Ocean. Jumping out of the plane was considered. How Dolly got talked into this I will never know. The idea that she could turn Sly into a singer is preposterous, and the movie proves it. Total waste of time. money and talent (Dolly, not Sly.) It gets one star because Dolly is worth watching, even in trash like this.

The only reason you might want to watch this is for the wierdness value. Not only are the two stars an odd combination, you actually hear Stallone sing. Like I said, wierd.

With a desent script this could have been a 10 pointer. But the fakt is that the story is klumpsy and rather unbeleavable. Though the leadactors charm makes it work.

This may be ranked as one of the worst movies of all time...but I like this one. Ol' Sly can use a few more singing lessons, but he's not too shabby...and with Dolly Parton for a coach.

i would what would happen if we got the guy who played rocky and rambo and teamed him up with someone really famous someone .... BIG. no not arnold, no not any action star oh i got it . "dolly parton" yeah , thats it we will make millions . we will even have rocky sing in this movie it will be a smash.
oh stalone, what were u thinking . okay so no more bad movies after this okay . every actor is only aloowed two really bad stinkers like this okay. this is one. oh shit , i forgot about "stop or my mom will shoot" okay no more okay. damm i forgot about" judge dread, oscar, rocky 5, rambo 3,driven " :(
