I grew up watching this countless times...used to retell the jokes/re-enact the skits @ school and I have him to thank for people thinking I was funny LOL

I still, to this day, ask if people have seen it and if not, I make them LOL

This stand-up film is a classic. This film shows the world why Pryor was (and still is) the King of Comedy.

Probably my favorite recording of Richard doing his stand-up comedy. He was able to take some of the darkest parts of his life and share them to make us laugh. An absolutely beautiful man who gave us all he could and created a great body of work. He was way ahead of his time and opened the door for many comedians of all creeds and colors. Thank you, Mr. Pryor. Much respect.

Richard Pryor raised the bar of concert films. He is the closest to Chalpin we had. Taking true pain and turning it into a joke amongst your friends.

This flick, filmed during Richard Pryor's '70's heyday, is a good history lesson in comedy. This is R.P. no holds barred- racial jokes, jokes about various family members, dealing with the police, bedroom and bathroom humor- you get the picture. No doubt Richard is the true genius of comedy.

The best comedy concert ever captured on film. If you haven't seen this movie, you haven't truly laughed.

One of the greatest comedians of all time, this film was a showcase for some of Richard Pryor's outrageous and sometimes wicked humor. This is a classic within itself and one of the best films to come out of 1979,that at the time it was released was "X" rated.
