But Jessica has yet to find her place in the adult world, and when her mother dies, her overprotective father begins to withdraw emotionally. But just as Jessica's life is turned upside down, a professional snowboarder shows up on her doorstep asking for wake-boarding lessons. There's a definite attraction between the two, though with the upcoming tournament drawing near Jessica realizes that she needs to remain focused on winning.
