I picked this up fully expecting some horrible fantasy crap fest. There are a lot of them out there. But this was actually pretty good. it was a very accurate retelling of the Ring saga and a very good one at that.

It's a tragedy, to be sure, but I still like the movie. The scenery is beautiful, and the story is engrossing.

It's definitely enjoyable and the story is...( read more) in itself absolutely fantastic, encorparating bloody battles, comely wenches, big beasties and of course-tragedy. I hear that this doesn't deviate too much from the original mythology (always refreshing!) and that tale is highly engrossing. Highly pleased!
