Summary: When 17-year-old Clay (Sam Huntington), grandson of Sheriff Buster Watkins (Barry Corbin), goes into a downward spiral after his father's death -- making trouble at school and committing petty crimes -- the lawman decides it's time for some tough love. Given the option of jail time or a 60-mile wilderness trek, Clay chooses the latter but may come to regret it when he encounters more than a few surprises along the way.
My Thoughts: "This felt like a made for t.v. movie. The acting left something to be desired. Sam Huntington did a great job with what little he had to work with. The script was just awful. The worse acting came from the two who play the 'bad guys' in this film. The film is filled with bad acting, bad music, and an awful script. The two stars is for the little bit of humor it had, and from the acting of Sam Huntington, Charles Durning, Caroline Goodall, and Barry Corbin. They all did good considering what they had to work with. If you can get past all of that, you might be able to recognize the message this movie is trying to send. But maybe not."
