  "I don't care if you hate the movie. I love it. I watch it every time it's on T.V. even though I own it. It's just one of those films that you can always come back to knowing it's going to make you laugh. I love the cast. D.J. Qualls is one of the funnier ones in the film including of course Seann William's. It will always be one of the funniest movies I have seen. It's my favorite road-trip flick. You have your weirdo: Barry, your relationship kinda guy: Josh, your man whore: Scott, your stoner: Rubin, and your geeky virgin: Kyle.   <i>"The greatest college tradition of all time."</i> Four friends take off on an 1800 mile road trip to retrieve an illicit tape mistakenly mailed to a girl friend. <center><font size=+2 face="Century Schoolbook"><b><u>REVIEW</u></b></font></center> Although this has the exact same plot "Overnight Delivery" had, and roughly the same plot every other road movie had, I'll let it slide because they've found a good use for it. Actors like Breckin Meyer, Paulo Costanzo and DJ Qualls (yet another comedy face trying to get into serious stuff) may not be all that great but they're perfect teen hijink comedy material. You could say Seann William Scott sleepwalks through another Stifler performance, but he cleverly tones it down a bit so you care this time. Once it gets on the road, the fun you'd expect from the plot really does begin. Comedy set pieces start piling up, each more unpredictable than the last, except for the obligatory car troubles and the pretty obvious conclusion. The major plot is the achilles heel of this movie, which isn't as bad as it sounds. Most of all, it's just really funny. It all just works, whether it's stupid and obvious or slightly less stupid and obvious, it makes me laugh. Also contains a topless Amy Smart, which I didn't boo either.

  If your into raunchy humour you'll love Todd (the hangover) Phillips' teen road comedy. A miscast Breckin Meyer leads the group with funny Seann William Scott and Tom Green supporting. It wasn't hilarious but it's dumb funny forgettable fluff. However, there was also a stupid subplot involving Tom Green feeding a snake which I thought was a boring stretched joke. It's all over the place but...it's okay.

  Road Trip is a film that when first released was very funny. However as the years gio by, the film becomes unfunny with every viewing. Having watched it recently, this film has not aged well, and the jokes have become stale. This film has many flaws, one being the bad joke, another the bad acting, and third it looks dated. One thing that I hated about the film was Tom Green, who is very unfunny,, and whos brand of comedy is so low brow that he has become irrelevant and forgetable.Road Trip by today's standards has a few chuckles here and there, but the humour for the most part is unfunny and doesn't generate laugh out loud moments like it did when it first came out. This is the type of comedy that becomes unfunny as the years go by. Rewatching this recently, I realized that the films comedy was lazy and uninspired. Road Trip was a fun film when it first came out, but now ten years after its release, the film has lost it's finess and is no longer relevant. There has been far better comedies that have come out since. Comedies with a better story, better jokes and is still funny long after its release. But Road Trip, due to the talent involved managed to be a comedy that has become unfunny very fast. Todd Philips has made a better comedy, The Hangover which is one of the funniest comedies of the decade. But this film is pretty pointless and manages only a few chuckles and a few smiles instead of bringing on big laughs. The film has become forgetable.

  I feel that I may be overrating this film a bit, but honestly, I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time. The hilarious chemistry between friends, the trip of a lifetime, the unafraid R-Rating, and the crude and sexual scenes are even funny. I love this film, because seeing as it would be every guys dream to have any girl in college, it is just not right to cheat, which is exactly what he travels across the country for. He has accidentally shipped his sex tape to his girlfriend and he must beat her to the package before she sees it. This may seem like a very predictable and plain story, but the comedy throughout and the situations they get themselves into is the pure joy of this film. I was laughing 24/7 and 90 minutes wasn't enough for me. This is one of the best attempts at comedy in the past decade. Road Trip is awesome!

  To start off, I didn't think that I'd like "Road Trip" because I'm far from being a Tom Green fan, but there wasn't anything else on Tv and I was bored, so I went ahead and watched it. Surprisingly, it wasn't a total dud like I was expecting, but that's not to say that it's great either. Four college friends take a road trip from New York to Texas after finding out that a tape that has illicit footage was accidentally mailed instead of the tape that was supposed to be on its way. But it won't be the easiest road trip to make because it's a super long trip and because the four guys aren't exactly the brightest bunch. "Road Trip" has a few parts that are gross and/or stupid, but it also has a lot of parts that are hilarious. Teens who are fans of watching MTV will probably be the ones who get the most enjoyment out of "Road Trip," but anyone who doesn't mind watching a mindless film should get a few laughs from it. If you're an MTV fan or a fan of mindless comedies, I recommend going ahead and getting "Road Trip." But if you're not the biggest fan of not so fluid comedies or of MTV shows such as "Jackass," then you'd probably be better off renting this one before you buy it. NOTE: That was my Amazon review fromt he year 2001. Tom Green sucks, never did like him, glad he has no career making him rich now.

  Ahh, when comedy's still made sense. Road Trip is a classic. It may be simple but it's funny and has reason. That speaks for more then 95% of the comedys that are being made as of recent. This one will always be a classic to keep watching over and over again.

Rubin: No no, this is legit, I- I've actually read an article about this. There's a whole bunch of them, it's like- they're like loopholes. Right, for argument's sake, let's say that you were sleeping with two girls at the same time, it- it wouldn't be cheating because they would cancel each other out. E.L.: Exactly. Or if, uh, you're too wasted to remember- it is not cheating. Because if you can't really remember it, it never really took place. A very funny college comedy that has plenty of sex, nudity, swearing, and drugs to keep everyone happy. From Todd Phillips who made the masterpiece that is Old School, this movie involves a group of guys, one of which has been dating a girl for a very long time, only to do one of those things guys do...you know, accidentally send your girlfriend a video tape of you and another girl having sex. After this unfortunate mess is revealed, the guy, Breckin Meyer and some of his friends, Seann William Scott, Paul Costanzo, and DJ Qualls, set out to take a road trip from Ithaca to Texas, before the tape gets to his girlfriends college. Meanwhile, Tom Green is around as another friend who must look after things while they are away, hilarity ensues. E.L.: Think about it Josh, you're in college. The window of opportunity to drink and do drugs and take advantage of young girls is getting smaller by the day. This movie is just very funny. It's consistently entertaining to me, has a good soundtrack, memorable moments, and college nudity is never a bad thing. Just a lot of good raunchy fun. Rubin: This is sort of an unusual question, but do you have any marijuana I might be able to buy from you? Our car exploded last night and I'm practically all out of my own. Motel Clerk: Am I a drug dealer? No, I am not. Thank you for asking, though. Rubin: No? OK. That's OK. Thanks. Motel Clerk: Is there anything else I can help you with? Perhaps you'd like an 11-year old prostitute sent to your room. We can do that. Or maybe we can off someone for you. Hunh? How's that sound? I've got it. Why don't we start small?
