Very likeable and funny deconstruction of the Robin Hood myth from the director who brought you a very likeable and funny deconstruction of The Three Musketeers. Obviously influenced the hugely inferior Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves.

Tries to tell a perhaps more realistic variation of the Robin Hood story - great kudos for original idea, even if the effect isn't the greatest.
Great movie that tells the story of what happened AFTER the book/movie that you're used to. Great cast, too. It ends so beautifully.
