This movie was a complete and total mess. It hemmhorages bad '90s style like a drunken Madonna after a long rave. Really, the only good thing is that it can be destroyed easily.
Episodic narrative based on nine short stories and one poem by the late Raymond Carver, detailing the longings and thwarted lives of a disparate group of individua
I think this is the one we watched freshman year in high school. Not too bad, and I think Juliet got naked if it is the one I am thinking of. Damn Hairy though.
in case you haven't noticed from all my othert reviews i'm not much for romance. This movie/ play has to be the lamest story written. It's so so daft therefore earning it's spot on the list of movies that just plain suck!
I'm not really into romance movies but this movie is a recreation of shakespheres romeo and juliet, though it lacks a sword fight towards the end this movie recreates shakespears theature onto film the best ive seen.
I seen several versions, but each differ on how its is filmed and of course the actors. the story in particular is one of the well known love stories there is and its still great to watch.
I like this film. Even though it's so sad. I like the costumes at the party. I think it's a good modern day adaptation, and it's one of those films that makes u wanna shout at the screen so Romeo finds his damn letter. I like the general message as well.
I was forced into this in 8th grade. Guess how I felt about it? About the same way I do now. The Baz Luhrman adaptation is WAY better (starring Leo and Clare Danes).
