Romeo must die is a typical hip hop generation action flick, but it's a good one.
Tons of insane action, nice special effects, and a great unpredictable storyline. Had the storyline and turn out of the movie not of been so good - I probably would not of gave this movie as high of a rating as it's typical to a lot of action movies, but it's storyline will catch you off gaurd and you'll become drawn in by this great martial-arts action packed movie with a little romance on the side.
very cool movie in which a family of african americans fights with a family of asians, and when their kids fall in love from the 2 different houses they try to make things work out. although not a super action packed movie compared to most jet li movies, the actions scenes that were in the movie were very intense.
Action packed from beginning to end. That X-ray thing was so cool plus the Scene where Jet Li and Aaliyah kick ass in a style I have never seen. It has great Funny Moments as well. Chinese gangster flick and hip-hop movie, mixed in with stunning fight sequences from the greatest martial arts actor alive JET LI!!. Great Soundtrack.
Better than I thought it would be. I love martial arts films but they tend to be a let down when it comes to plot. (There are exceptions of course). This one's plot wasn't terrible, even if you could work out the ending from a mile away. The fight sequences weren't the best i've ever seen either but that's what you get when Hollywood tries to do what the Chinese can do better. I love all of Jet Li's films. He's just great fun to watch. Aaliyah wasn't as terrible as I expected her to be. Fun film that is definatly worth checking out if you're into kung-fu movies.
This film is a wonderful monument to the late Aaliyah. It transcends time and prejudice. I love the action, especially the martial arts sequences. It's a bit of urban lifestyle meets traditional Chinese.
it is one of theose movies that will stay in your head forever asain and blacks dont mix in this movie and he falls for a black woman that the 2 families really hate good plot
Uber-Hollywoodized Jet Li vehicle. Well shot as you'd expect, some stellar ideas, but the computer-fu fights are awful...basically the most non-real fights i've seen (special fx, wires, camera tricks)
wow what a thriller movie...i have not seen this movie in ages but this was a good thriller movie...the director of this Action & Adventure movie had done a great job of directing this movie becuase you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie...this has a good cast of actors/actressess throughout the movie/..i think that its sad that the singer = aaliyah has sadly passed away because she was a good actress n she proved it in this movie debut of hers...the fight scenes throughout the movie were cleverly done..there's the elements of comedy throughout the movie...this is a good Action & Adventure movie 2 watch n its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout the movie...
This was a brilliant movie! It's just sad that Aaliyah died. She was one of my favorite singers, and a pretty good actress too. I would've loved to have seen her in more movies.
