    Here's an interesting movie that follows the life of Romulus and his family. As he deals with daily life, he realizes that his family is falling apart and his wife is on the verge of leaving him and all that is dear to him is his son. Eric Bana and Franka Potente stars.     Drama kesedihan dan penderitaan sudah harus disaksikan dan dirasakan Raimon Gaita (Kodi Smit-McPhee) semenjak kecil. Kehidupan rumah tangga orang tuanya tidak terjalin dengan harmonis.Ibunya,Christina(Franka Potente) kerap meninggalkannya sendiri dengan ayahnya,Romulus (Eric Bana...( read more)).Hingga suatu hari Christina memutuskan untuk menikahi Mitru-teman baik Romulus.

    Namun pernikahan Christina dengan Mitru ternyata tidak memberikan kebahagian bagi keduanya.Mitru memilih untuk mengakhiri hidupnya dengan bunuh diri.Begitu juga Christina yang memutuskan untuk mengakhiri hidupnya dengan menenggak obat tidur hingga tewas.

    Sepeninggal Christina,Romulus kemudian berniat untuk menikah dengan Lidia.Romulus pun mengirimkannya sejumlah uang agar Lidia bisa datang menemuinya.Namun pada kenyataannya Lidia ternyata telah menikah.

    Deraan kesedihan dan beban penderitaan yang datang silih berganti,membuat Romulus pun mengalami depresi.Untuk beberapa waktu,Raimond diasuh oleh Hora(Marton Csokas).

    Hidup memang terkadang tidak selalu memberikan rangkaian kisah indah yang bisa membuai kita dalam kebahagian.Namun penderitaan tidak sepantasnya membuat kita tunduk dalam nestapa.

    Film ini meraih banyak penghargaan dalam ajang Australia Film Festival. Untuk kategori-Best Picture.Best Actor-Eric Bana.Best Lead Actor-Marton Csokas.Best Young Actor-Kodi Smit-McPhee
