Rosario Tijeras tries to juggle the personal life of Rosario a tough girl from the streets, not to mention the problems associated with her being a hit woman, and the romantic troubles involved with the two upper class boys she attracts. The film is entertaining and Flora Martinez is very sexy but there is just to much going on to give it all the proper amount of time.

Throw in a sexy female assasin, a gang of sicario's on dirt bikes, 1989 Medellin, Colombia as the backdrop and you got "Rosario Tijeras" a dramatic film based during a time where it was a Colombia that everyone knew and struggled to understand. A time where Pablo Escobar controlled the town, a time where teenagers are paid in pocket money for every cop killed. Rosario works for a drug dealer and is conflicted with the love she never got and the next drug dealer she must eliminate. Introduced in her life is a young man unfamilair with this life style as they are both caught up in a love triangle with violent conclusions. I really love the "movie moments" this film has. The taking out of the dead for a "last night" on the town, the beautiful bike ride on the bridge. This film has great cinematography and captures Medellin well. A film not to miss and a movie that is not afraid to be honest.

Una muy buena pelicula de un EXCELENTE libro,todavia no me he visto Paraiso Travel,pero no creo q alguna pueda alcanzar a Rosario,la actuación de Flora Martinez fue indescriptible,parecía ser la misma Rosario de las comunas..EXCELENTE!"

MCT:March 11, 2008it had great elements lost on the way. the screenplay and direction are messy, but the core of the story is good, as well as Flora Martinez's performance. too bad Unax Ugalde can't pull off a convincing colombian accent.

La pelicula es buena, tiene sus momentos de romance y sus momentos bizarros, la forma en que se cuenta la historia es regular, pero la actuacion de Flora Martinez es muy buena y creible.

MCT:September 12, 2007Probably one of the best S. American films I have seen: pretty intense, loved the storytelling and the way whole thing unfolded. Rosario Tijeras is an excellent anti-hero you end up sympathizing with.

bueno madellin no es asi ahora eso tal vez en los tiempos de pablo escobar q habia tanta droga etc..yo conosco mucho medellin y enrealidad no es q digamos asi..la pelicula es basada en lo tiempos de rosario tijeras...etc..y medellin ahora no es asi...osea yo naci aya y q yo sepa no viven matando tal vez en esas comunas por alla lejos del centro y todo eso..pero la pelicula es buena...
