The CGI animation was done on a budget, with limited textures and polygons with gaps. Even if they had done this with animated puppets, the story would still be slow, and the songs lame and forgettable. It felt unfinished and loosely thrown together. If they still have the original… More
The CGI animation was done on a budget, with limited textures and polygons with gaps. Even if they had done this with animated puppets, the story would still be slow, and the songs lame and forgettable. It felt unfinished and loosely thrown together. If they still have the original data files, they should create a snappier rendering of the movie. I was suckered by the colorful box art and curiousity of seeing a CGI rendition of the classic Rudolph characters.
