I cannot WAIT to see this film. I don't think my little heart can take the beauty of both Simon AND Dylan on the same screen again!

Yikes, I'm really not sure about this one. I'll see it because of my overwhelming love for Simon Pegg, but I can only hope that David Schwimmer is better behind the camera than in front of it.

    Not likely.

Not as good as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz...but still a heartwarming comedy. 3 Stars is good enough!

Lightweight Brit rom-com, but more 'About a Boy' than 'Love Actually'. Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran are hilarious. I'm not a fan of David Schwimmer's acting, but he's a decent director. Luckily, he doesn't have a cameo. The soundtrack is awesome, with lots of 80's British ska. Not groundbreaking, but definitely worth a look.

'Run, fat Boy, Run' is a story about an unlucky 'loser type' guy that ditches his pregnant fiance on their wedding day. 5 years later, he's still in love with his ex, but he's going nowhere fast, until some new competition arrives in the form of her new boyfriend. What follows is a sweet and slick comic tale of motivation and determination. Simon Pegg is great as the hapless lead who's not a bad guy - just unreliable. He brings a real likeability to the character, and his comic abilities are simply fantastic. I'll never forget those running shorts - or that blister! He's strongly supported by the likes of Thandie Newton, Hank Azaria and Dylan Moran, and there are some great cameos from David Walliams and Stephen Merchant. Who would have known that David Schwimmer was equally as good a director as he is as an actor. His handling of the material is very stylish, un-complicated and interesting. 'Run, Fat Boy, Run' is a great comedy that will entertain all the family. Harmless.

Just a Nice little movie. Simon Pegg just gets more likable with every movie I watch him in. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack used through out the film

Great coming of age story for a guy that's in his 30's. Once again Simon shows what a comedically brilliant character actor he can be and delivers a slice of fried gold. If you are a fan of Simon's prevoius works (which I know I am) this was a must see. I think a funny tag line should have been even losers can be a winner.

Hilarious! Not quite on the same tier as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, but still definitely worth seeing. Also, Dylan Moran is so damn funny.

A generic, lame, immature piece of comedy with two great comedians (Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran) at their worst. Extremely poorly written with not a single moment that deserves more than a slight smirk, and I believe the blame can be placed entirely on David Schwimmer who doesn't seem to have any idea of what is humorous. It's stuffed with toilet humour and simply unfunny characters, a bad comedy with a good heart and a couple of comedians a cut above the material.

Abua, mitä homersimpson- shittii. En yleensäkkään pidä englantilaisista draama(komedioista), joten en edes tajua miks yritän. ko. genren fanit, suosittelen.

predictable, average by the numbers romantic comedy not helped by the presence of simon pegg, what may appear to be charming to some makes me want to reach for the sick bag, the only bit i like is when dylan moran tries to pop simon's blister after the run. mega lolz

    Justins Prediction:

You would think such a lineup of talet had been cobbled together by an actualy director. Well strap yourself in an hold onto your waffle-jaw, because this is actually directed by mong-faced goon David "Ross from Friends" Schwimmer. This instantly explains why this looks like an unfunny movie.

A few genuine laughs here but nothing to original or that exciting to be honest. I wanted it to be so much better and tried to enjoy this film but it really was above average for me.

The script must have been re-written about 500 times, because this...this is not something Simon Pegg would do. It's atrocious.

a very funny light hearted comedy from the actors and writer of shaun of the dead and hot fuzz. Although not as good as those two films freinds alum david schwimmer does a decent job with direction and the cast is superb

An overweight loser leaves his pregnant girlfriend at the alter five years earlier. Now five years later and with a son, the man works as a security guard at a woman?s clothing store. Seeing that his former girlfriend is now settling down and planning to marry a man who is the complete opposite of him, the loser begins to fear he may lose his last chance to recapture her heart. The rival is dedicated, responsible, and successful and with his rival in sight the overweight man decides to run a twenty-six mile marathon to prove to his ex-girlfriend that he is responsible to raise their son and to win her heart back.
Run Fat Boy Run is a fantastic comedy, romance drama all mixed in to one complete movie. With several scenes that will have you laughing off your seat, the equally amount of scenes that quickly tug at your heart. Simon Pegg as usual is a fantastic in the lead role. Pegg also penned the script and the movie was directed by first time director and former Friends star David Schwimmer who does a marvelous job in the direction of the film. Run Fat Boy Run is an overall dazzling light-hearted comedy that captivates the movies audience with strong British comedy and a great cast and script. Overall Run Fat Boy Run receives four marathons out of five for being an overall memorable comedy.

Not nearly as funny nor as original as the rest of Pegg's work. Or Michael Ian Black's, for that matter. It seemed as though they wanted to play it safe and stick to American standards like physical comedy and ripping off Meet The Parents - even though the film took place in the U.K. Despite that, it had a handful of great laughs and managed to feel genuine in the requisite big emotional moment. Worth a watch.
