Russian Ballet: The Glorious Tradition, V. 1
This first volume presents an overview of the last two decades. It begins with a rare look at the artistry of young Mikhail Baryshnikov just on the brink of his international career in 1971. It concludes with another dancer poised for stardom, the young ballerina Nadezda Gracheva who, with the Bolshoi, took London by storm in 1993. Other featured dancers include: Ekaterina Maximova, Vladimir Vasiliev and Igor Zelinsky.
