You follow the life of kiyora, and how she eventually finds real love. Well, cliched as it sounds, the whole movie keeps you captivated, with superb soundtrack, lush colour, fast movement, character development...
Although I like Anna Tsuchiya (and watched this show because of her),I was pretty shocked by the contents of this show...
Moulin Rouge! in Japanese. A vivid insight into the mizu-shobai of a Yoshiwara courtesan with flowery dreams. The imagery is over-the-top picturesque because the director started off as a pro photographer. Beats Hero & Color Blossoms any day, and only narrowly loses out to Rouge!...( read more)
The photogrphy is unique and marvelous, and the soundtrack is awesome, but it's just that. The history isn't new and the movie is kinda boring most of times.
