Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Excellent chemistry between the two thesps pays dividends."
‑ Derek Elley, Variety
"It's fair to say that the Melbourne setting--along with Khan and Zinta--makes the movie. Otherwise, it mainly feels like Bollywood business as usual."
‑ Ethan Alter, Film Journal International
"A watchable, but conventional, romantic comedy about negotiating domestic peace agreements in the shadow of an unexpected pregnancy."
‑ David Chute, L.A. Weekly
"The most unmissable event since Jackie Chan visited: three hours of synchronised dance numbers, farce, melodrama and Bollywood around our most photogenic tourist landmarks."
‑ Urban Cinefile Critics, Urban Cinefile
"Salaam Namaste must set some sort of record for genre pileup."
‑ Anita Gates, New York Times
