Executive producer Roger Corman, who also released De Leon's film, made a career of re-using similar storylines with slight alterations and passing them off as new films. This one falls short of its predecessor due mostly to Golden's workmanlike direction and the hackneyed backdrop. Golden's next job for Corman, however, was a surprisingly witty adaptation of Bram Stoker's The Burial of the Rats (1995). ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi
