Sauna (Filth)
In 1595, after a long, bloody war between Sweden and Russian, two brothers--one ruthless, one squeamish--are sent on an expedition to remap the borders in a remote and recondite region between the formerly warring nations. Sin and guilt pursue the expedition through a series of ever more baffling events, until the sinister edifice of the title reveals its awful purpose in a stunning, startling climax.

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"...one of the most repugnant and flat-out contemptible cinematic experiences to come around in quite some time."
‑ David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
"Similar in style to the brilliant Let the Right One In, this story of blame and belief, terror and trepidation uses an unfamiliar era and event to lay the foundation for one undeniable work of fear."
‑ Bill Gibron, PopMatters
"Director AJ Annila bends the tone before our eyes ... We follow his lead and don't give a damn if it all amounts to nonsense."
‑ Matthew Sorrento, Film Threat
