I am getting confused with each sequel. The main reason as to why I watch it is because of my boyfriend and seeing how people die. Other than that, the story is getting blah blah blah, boring.

This was a lot better than 5, and the ending to the "game" was kind of a shock. I was disappointed that Hoffman survived though.

The previous film in the franchise (Saw V) was the worst in the whole series, so expectations for the 6th were tempered accordingly. However, surprisingly, Saw VI returns the dying franchise back to its roots. It was disturbing, it was methodical, and it was grote...( read more)squely preachy. The signature Saw twist was there, but it wasn't as impressive as some of its predecessors.

The previous film had a handful of underwhelming traps and games, but here this film returns with some brilliantly disturbing scenes. The opening scene is hard to watch, and it's one of the finest in the series. But what stands out as one of the most memorable and inventive traps of the entire franchise is the spinning carousel with 6 of the poor victim's closest co-workers chained to it and a single shotgun aimed at them as the spin.

This is by no means a great movie, or even a good one, but it is damn entertaining. It's also extremely relevant in today's society as Jigsaw seeks to tackle the unjust, corrupt health care system in America. I'm beginning to find myself rooting for Jigsaw, and I don't think that's a direction this franchise should be heading... he's supposed to be the bad guy. This installment is leagues better than some of the others, but this franchise still needs to end... soon!

    REVIEW

Those sadistic producers are at it again, ...( read more)this time bringing interested viewers the sixth installment of the grisly series. The annual games have begun and center around Detective Hoffman who believes his tracks are covered after the death of a federal agent who happened to be his most dogged pursuer. Unfortunately for Hoffman, the agent left behind some pivotal clues that may allow his colleagues to discover the killer's true identity. Meanwhile, viewers are offered further insight into the mind and motivation of the deceased Jigsaw, and just what it was that drove him to do the things that he did. The amount of violence and gore is actually toned down a bit this one, and there are a few interesting twists here and there so as to avoid the sheer boredom of a slasher exercise. Clearly nothing special, but not bad by the standards of this series.

OK, I GUESS I CAN'T EXPECT ANYTHING MORE FROM THE SAW SERIES OTHER THAN A PREDICTABLE PLOT AND ENDLESS BLOOD AND GUTS AND THE SAME CHARACTERS WHO MAKE THE SAME STUPID MISTAKES

Nick Schager, Slant Magazine

Saw VI plays like the last gasp for relevance of a heavy-metal series that has not only gone regurgitation-rusty but seems lacking much of a will to live. full review

I do not understand why this so-called saga is that popular. It's nothing but "i want to make you sick" movies. The great thing with this one is that the director managed to make it a real thriller again even if it is way under the first one's greatness.

This is directly pointed at the head of morpheous one!, how can u judge the saw series or franchise when a)u havnt seen it, b)its done so freakin well, c)was created by small aussies who are now practically legends and finally the fact that ur name is morpheous one, i mean dnt get me wrong the matrix series was awesome in its own right but the saw series kicks the shite out of the matrix, has better story, better twists, more suspence, do i have to keep going. To call these movies overrated trash is totally out of line, especially calling people who love the saw series stupid trash loving losers who need to wake the fuck up!, I personally think, (know), that saw is a pioneer and revolutionary,( on and off its field), so, morpheous one!, lets keep ur identity a secret bcos if i ever see u, (or the huddled masses that take offence to ur ranting antics) in the street, i will personally make it my business to show u that u r wrong.
    P.S SAW RULES!

I agree that the franchise has been dragged too far now. I have seen Saw 1 and 2 recantly and did enjoy both as they were the most intelligent horror films I have seen in years - But even then, it should have ended at 4.

Twisted Pictures BEWARE! Freddy Kreuger BOMBED as the franchise went too far and it became a total parody of itself... (Elm Street 6 with its desperate attempts at 3D was just abysmal!!!) - SAW may well go the same way.

What I have seen of the Trailer so far - I feel its now becoming a gorefest and losing its intellect...

I will watch and review as soon as I can... BUt I do feel that its begining to lose its shine
