After parodying the blaxploitation films of the 1970s in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Keenen Ivory Wayans takes aim at slasher films of the 1980s and 1990s in this raunchy satire, which was produced under the clumsy but inarguably appropriate title Scream If You Know What I Did Last Halloween. Critic Reviews

  • Glenn Lovell, San Jose Mercury News

The kind of thing that leads to sleepless nights -- from severely bruised rib cages.

  • Liam Lacey, Globe and Mail

There's energy and glee in the movie, as if the Wayans brothers were still little boys, desperately working to out-gross each other. Naughty little boys and girls everywhere, even those who have officially grown up, will appreciate their commitment.

  • Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

Would it be asking too much if the hit-and-miss jokes could maybe nudge an inch beyond the obvious?

  • Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

  • Bob Longino, Atlanta Journal-Constitution

It's just crude, rude and socially unacceptable.

An obvious mickey take that had some rather funny and clever moments parodying other movies. The father of all parodies, this spawned several others. But this is original and an easy watch. I loved the bit with the Scream guy smoking pot, really funny face.
