Prep school movies are not complete without this dramatic gem. One of Brendan Fraser's best. I can't watch it anymore, though because I like Matt Damon so much.

Good movie about a kid who has to fight anti-semitism in the 1950s. It was great seeing Fraser, O'Donnell, Damon and Affleck before they were so popular.
bad ending matt damon was great as always great job by cole also. could have been better brendan not a great jew he was way out of his league in this movie to many big names.

A well-acted, well-made flick. Matt Damon is so crazy mean it's awesome! Brenden Fraser is a really good actor, too. He's so diverse it's amazing! I don't even remember Chris O'Donnell in this movie. Hm.
This is quite a powerful movie. I must say it has really changed my view on Jews. They have already suffered alot not to mention they are the most had fun of religion. But they are all ppl and not all Jews were killed in the Holocraust, killed Jesus, or are dishonest. And not all Christians are purely good doers. Whether Ben Fraser is actually a Jew or not, he shows that ppl are ppl and ppl of all religions can do wrong so we must stop blaming the Jews the first chance we get.

Each of the guys were so young and they acted so well.
It's a great story and the fact that they were found out to be racists was not suprising at all.
So controversial. I loved how the kids were forced to grow up and examine their prejudices, it was a really great, thought provoking movie, and (shocker here) I absolutely HATED Matt Damon's character. He was a complete BUTT.
