Scooby-Doo's Spookiest Tales (100%)

Plot: As in Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders, this animated feature takes the finest ingredients from the Saturday morning TV series--the original Scooby gang (minus Scrappy-Doo) and their groovy ...( read more read more... )exclamations ("Zoinks, jinkies!")--and updates the proceedings with a modern recipe. In this adventure, the gang's past exploits are immortalized in a video game. Due to an evil computer virus, however, they get sucked into that very game! It consists of several levels, including a Roman Colosseum (shades of Gladiator) and a prehistoric jungle (shades of Jurassic Park). To move from one level to the next, the gang has to find the box of Scooby Snack. With the irrepressible, ever-hungry Shaggy and Scooby--and their cybercounterparts--part of this intrepid crew, how can they fail to find the snacks, return to reality, and, most importantly, bring the creator of the virus to justice? (Ages 3 to 12) --Kathleen C. Fennessy

This is one of those new-age Scooby Movies, my secret Santa bought it for me because I mentioned I adore Scooby-Doo.

Granted that it is one of the less-awesome newer Scooby movies, it's still fun. I don't think I can ever dislike Scooby-Doo and Shaggy.

In this 4th installment of the scooby doo movies, shaggy, velma, fred, daphne, and scooby go off to visit an old highschool buddy who has made a videogame starring the whole mystery inc. gang, but somehow a phantom virus has escaped from the game and chases the gang around the university, soon the gang get zapped into the videogame and have to pass all 10 levels to get out of the game. They go to space, the roman empire, anartica, the jurassic age, egypt, shrunken, and go to the final level where they meet their cyber counterparts who were the videogame versions of them, then all 10 of them team up to defeat old iron face, the creeper, the tar monster, the phantom virus, and 2 other monsters and soon defeat them. Along the way they find clues about who sent them into the videogame and who created the phantom virus and it turns out to be the kid that likes baseball.

This movie was excellent and had the old twists and turns we loved from the 1st 3 films.

    this movie kicks ass!

Blah, I love Scooby-Doo and his little shows. I wasn't too fond of this particular story, but it's still good and I'm still going to watch it again. I'm obsessed with Scooby-Doo. He's a classic.
