Scumrock: It's Scumrock, Not Punk Rock!
Counterculture auteur Jon Moritsugu takes potshots at the San Francisco Bay Area underground rock community in this award-winning deadpan comedy. Wannabe filmmaker Miles (Kyp Malone) and aging rocker Roxxy (Amy Davis) are on the verge of becoming has-beens but refuse to give up the ghost without a good dose of public histrionics. Moritsugu's use of analog rather than digital media lends a gritty edge to his terrifically trashy satire.

"How wonderfully trashy."
‑ , E! Online
"Comes off as a tired rehashing of the director's '90s-era DIY creations."
