Sartana's very first movie is action packed and a lot of fun. The story runs around in circles a bit too much, sometimes is not clear who is chasing who and why, and who double-crossed who. William Berger plays a fantastic bad guy, and Klaus Kinski has a brief but very enjoyable role. Garko is clearly having fun with the character, he brings a touch of elegance and style that sets Sartana apart from other italo-westerns anti-heroes.
