    Wanna fall in love with Pacino? then this is the movie. After a well deserved 5-year hiatus, this was his 1989 comeback for one of the few decently made movies in the sex-thriller genre.

    Well not the best Pacino movie, but better than the crap he is doing now and above what was coming out for awhile before this movie. Very good acting from Pacino and was nice to see another role from John Goodman. The plot isn't really anything new, but the performances seem to m...( read more)ake it refreshing. Al Pacino fans should give it a try. Also, by fan, I mean you knew of Pacino before MTV Cribs.

    Good movie. I saw it with my uncle back when i was a kid and he made me turn my head. Finally I decided to watch it and see what I missed. Yeah, it was worth it... not only for that but I am now able to appreciate Al Pacino's acting as well as John Goodman's character's joviality.

    Al Pacino kicks ass in this taut, exiciting, sexy thriller. The completely un-attractive Ellen Barkin even manages to get my juices flowing, although she does look more slutty than sexy. This is a top-rate murder mystery and the only thing that lets it down in the last 5 minute...( read more)s where it delves into stupid cliches. Fortunatly, this has nothing to do with the actual murder plot and so doesn't ruin the film. Definatly one of the best films of the 80's, and one of Pacino's top performances. John Goodman is also very amusing as Pacino's partner and the comic relief.

    this film is way good!... it's thrilling and really funny too! dodgy sex scenes though.. look lady we don't want to see your boobs?!?! ok?!?!... lol! not one to watch with your parents!.. awkward.. lol!
