Well acted & interesting tale of a cynical psychologist who chance encounters her soul mate but who is in such denial that she purposely near jinxes it!

Must See! Cusack is phenominal. Best performance of Kate Beckinsale (Evolution).
My son has this in his top 10 movies & with the amazing supporting characters' performances I can see why. Each enlists his/her best friend in a desperate attempt to determine if in fact these 2 are "intended". Those talented "best buddies" are none other than Jeremy Piven (Rush Hour) & Molly Shannon. Eugene Levy (American Pie) co-stars in a supporting role as the Macy's salesclerk who plays a somewhat instrumental role in reuniting the pair! Hiliarious in parts! John Corbin (Lucky, My Big Fat Greek Wedding & Sex in the City) is stunning as a world famous hip musician engaged to Beckinsale.

My favourite scene is the one where he realises he has found the right book, the one that has her number on it. The director did a great job with that part.

Watch Serendipity in the movie theatre, it was wonderful. I cannot remember since when did a movie make such an impression on me.. The setting of the meeting and how the show continue to show the fate that landed this 2 person together is amazing.
