A time before Elmo when Cookie Monster could eat as many cookies as he wanted (as well as cars) and everybody thought Snuffy was just in Big Bird imagination.
This was the first movie I saw in a movie theater. I don't remembermuch about it, but it launched my passion for the darkened theater, so I will love it 'til the day I die--even I don't remember why they were following Big Bird and who "they" is.
Who would think a movie based on a show aimed at toddler's could be so appealing for the entire family? The celebrity guests add so much. Great songs too!
SUCH A GOOD MOVIE! I WATCHED IT SO MANY TIMES GROWING UP! And I would cry. Such a sad story. And my whole life I have been sad the Dodo bird is extinct. I am glad they are resurrected as muppets! GREAT kids movie. I saw this in the movie theater when it came out in Madison, WI.
A great and entertaning film, it is great they brought Sesame Street to the big screen, the movie has a great story and a great plot to it, the songs in the film are really awesome. This is a film for all the kids to see.
I am 22, and I can still remember this movie and I loved it then and now. You can't hardly find it anymore, but if you can find it somewhere you should watch it. It even has Waylon Jennings in it. That is great all on its own. All parents should let their kids see this, is a classic.
this is the first movie i ever saw in the theatre....i just remember being so sad when big bird was separated from his family and friends on sesame street
I grew up watching Sesame Street and when they made this movie, I was blown away. I watched this many times when I was growing up and I could never get tired of it.
I really enjoyed how many of the characters had their own modes of transporation when searching for Big Bird. Supergrover flew, Oscar had his Sloppy Jalopy, Count had his dracula car, Bert and Ernie had their plane, and how can you forget that little yellow Volkswagon Beetle.
If you grew up loving Sesame Street you will definitely enjoy this movie.
This was one of my absolute favorite movies when I was little and I still love it. I haven't seen it in a while so hopefully it'll still be great when I see it again.
A children's movie? Maybe... but it is so much more than that. Aside from being a Jim Henson production, this movie spoofs North by Northwest, and has Big Bird doing a Duet with Waylon Jennings. This movie is just fun to watch (if you like kid movies or muppets)
Waste of TIME!! Very Weak movie, DO NOT WATCH, if you do end up watching it, side effects may include: Suicide, murder ramapages, road ramapage, any kinds of ways of harming yourself, and many others...
Big Bird got sent to live in Oceanview, Indiana, beause of a interfering social worker, and decided to walk back home to Sesame Street. A children's movie that an adult could sit through.
This film is amazing!!!!!!! You gotta love Sesame Street, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Snuffles, Oscar, Cookie Monster etc etc There all amazing!!!!! You have to see this film. I would just like to say thanks to tom for lending me this film lol!!!!
this film has some funny and priceless characters like the count who god bless him at the end counts all the credits although there is alot of singing in it its still very good.
oh my god... i saw this movie so much when i was a kid.. i had a yellow tape that was the entire movie... but it was like... just the audio... and it was the whole thing... very cool that they managed to make an entire movie that works with just the audio as well
