For a cheap film, not a bad film. Found it drags at times and a little annoyed at how stupid the main characters can be.

Although I'm not a huge fan of westerns, this was a sweet movie...with a typical western storyline of love, death and revenge.

Dragging storyline plus cheesy scenes and a not so convincing villain = forget it.

August 6, 2009Wow o wow! You will find yourself rolling on the floor with raucous, gut-busting laughter as this swashbumbling Western slowly bumbles its way through the outer limits of logic and right down into your heart through its bad-movie cult classic potential. The acting is intensely bad in parts; yet in other parts or with certain characters the acting is fine, though some type of corny magic about this movie makes it all as cheesy as the Kraft factory floor. There is also a religious/moral theme(seemingly the premise of the movie) that never reaches its logical target, finally contradicting itself at the end. You'll want to bash (hero?) James in the head as he amazingly fails to prevent the villain from murdering or getting away with the murders of his father, wife, and brother-in-law because of some convoluted sense of Christian righteousness, maybe pacifism -even though he has no belief in God throughout the brunt of the movie- only to kill him in the end. Top 10 bad movie, folks.
