Branded a whistle-blower and therefore unemployable, Jack desperately needs to make a living. When his former girlfriend Fatima, a high powered businesswoman--and now a lesbian--offers him cash to impregnate her and her new girlfriend Alex, Jack is persuaded by the chance to make "easy" money. Word spreads and soon Jack is in the baby-making business at $10,000 a try. Lesbians with a desire for motherhood and the cash to spare are lining up to seek his services. But, between the attempts by his former employers to frame him for security fraud and his dubious fathering activities, Jack finds his life, all at once, becoming very complicated.

Spike Lee is aiming for too many things here, in some is a hit, in others are a miss. The first half builds up around the usual relationships stuff, then the second half forgets about the first and goes into a socio-political-commentary rampage. Also the movie depends on just wa...( read more)y too many wishifull thinking and "happy coincidences" to work properly and be convincing. If only Spike cut it off the political stuff, his movies would be actually a lot better. John Turturo's character, and all his dialogues and scenes were like if Spike was doing a parody of Do the Right Thing.

Probably Spike Lee's weakest film. I found it clever and funny but it can be disrespectful at points

As a director Spike Lee is one of the best filmmakers of our time but when a Spike Lee joint is great you have a masterpiece (25th Hour, Malcom X and one of my favourite films Do The Right Thing.) but when he doesn't create a classic you have one horrible movie (Girl 6). Sadily t...( read more)his movie is bad Spike Lee. This may quite be the worst film of his career. The actors seem to be just as confused what type of film this is and as were is 1986 classic She's Gotta Have It was intellingent and entertaining this film at times seem to have been directed by Micheal Bay in a arthouse period or just given to a inmature 12 year old to make his dream movie. If you have to judge Spike Lee on 1 movie please don't make it this one.

A smug, crude, angry, not funny "satire" wanna be that plays like a late night soft core porno flick with political commentary sprawling every which way in that 2nd act. Oh, the sex scenes are funny though, but they play like Meg Ryan's "I'll have what she's having" scene in When...( read more) Harry met Sally.
