this movie is one of my biggest guilty pleasures...who knew Meryl and Roseanne would ever star in a movie...but it can be really really funny...i throughly enjoy this movie everytime its on tv!!

MCT:November 29, 2007This tediously antic film teaches us two things: firstly, how the talented Meryl Streep can do comedy; and secondly how suburban troll Roseanne can't! This murky and out of whack film fails to explain why they needed to put a black mole on Roseanne's face - like she needed THAT to look ugly next to Meryl!

This is a funny and cute classic film. Meryl Streep is great and Roseanne Barr is too funny. I use to wath this film all the time as a hild. It's just too funny.

MCT:May 21, 2007Knowing Roseanne's personality, she's already judged b/c she's in the movie. I felt bad for her, being the average housewive with a huge mole trying to please the unsatisfied husband. He does the obvious, and clings onto a successful, childless, beautiful writer who is going to learn the hard way not to mess with Roseanne. And man, does she make the blonde's life a living nightmare. And don't think she forgot the cheating husband, no, she doesn't. In the end, everyone gets what they derserve.

this film got a baaad rap from critics! I'm not sure what other people thought of it... but i thought Roseanne was great as a dumped housewife out for revenge, and Streep was suitably whiney when her perfect life began to crumble. Funny. I liked it! So boo you, critics, boo you!

This movie was actually pretty fun. Roseanne was convincing as the She-Devil who'd do anything to get revenge on her husband. It's a good laugh - and if you're looking for revenge, you might get some good tips in this movie!

if I'd lived to be 100, I could live without the experience of sitting through this tripe again. Almost, but not quite as bad as Dude, Where's My Car. (or, as I call it, Dude, Where's the 87 Minutes of My Life Ashton Kutcher Owes Me?)
