A great cast deliver the goods in an otherwise slight tale. The characters are not particularly likeable and their actions and motivations are questionable from beginning to end.

the first 20 mins was amazing - up until sean penn arrives and the whole film takes a turn both in terms of script and directing - its almost like 2 compleatly different films, with ethe first part being dark gritty and edgy, while the second part is anything but.
