Plot: Before his success as an actor, Adrian Grenier began work on this personal documentary about tracking down his distant father. Raised in New York City by his mother, Karesse, he grew up knowing little...( read more read more... ) about his biological father. Just before his twenty-third birthday, Adrian resolves to reconnect. He begins his journey at Yankee Stadium on Father's Day, asking men the meaning of fatherhood and what it means to grow up without a dad. He interviews his mother and learns things he never knew about her past. Then he travels with a buddy to his father's home state of Ohio for a family visit full of surprises.

    A beautiful, personal film that touched me in a very deep way. The search for an absent father is something I can relate to, much to my great sadness.

    I felt very voyeuristic watching this on HBO, but couldn't tear myself away from it anyway. It was slice-of-life interesting, and the final two scenes were absolutely wonderful.

    A touching doc about a young man's reunion with his estranged father, only made more interesting by the fact that the young man is Entourage star Adrian Grenier.
