This one doesn't build on the characters and laughs of the first two. Timberlake as a teen King Arthur and Idle as Merlin are a big let down! Well the actors do an ok job. It is more the characters, especially Merlin, who are sadly underdeveloped.

From all the criticism received for this sequel, I was expecting a pretty bad film, but in fact I really enjoyed the direction the story went in. Some very funny moments and of course, as always, great animation and characterization, including some new arrivals.
Maybe it's just too much of the same ol thing, but this one isin't great enough. Still an alright movie, but not even close to as great as the first 2
