COPLETE garbage...an utter waste of an hour and a hlf of my life; time that i will regretfully never get back. friends this is no shrek 1 or even 2: dont waste your time.

May 28, 2007the most garbage movie ever, Completely unexpected. DREAM WORKS HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME! shrek 2 was the best ever. till they came out with this garbage. absolute no adventure, just some nerdy teen, and a few speeches of being a friend. NOTHING LIKE SHREK 2!

May 27, 2007I think they have done this to death already. Then they say Shrek 4 will be a prequel. I really dont see a fourth movie being very good even if it is a prequel.

May 23, 2007I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I WENT TO SEE IT WITH MY SON AND NEPHEWS . IT WAS FUNNY AND THE CHARACTERS WERE LIFE-LIKE. IT HAD SOME ADULT HUMOR AND KID FRIENDLY CHARACTERS, ITS GOOD FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

May 23, 2007What a dud. I was very unimpressed with Shrek the Third. The whole movie felt rushed, like they didn't want to bother spending any amount of time on plot development or even giving more info on the Artie character. I'm going to forget I ever saw this one so it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the first two movies.

Although the effort to be just a little too hip kept this 3rd effort from being as satisfying as the first two, it still was a fun outing for my "grands" and me. There were tie-ins to other fairytales, which was fun to watch for, once I saw what the writers were doing, and there were double entendres and references which only the adults in the audience will pick up on. This helped make it a fun time for all. Overall, it wasn't as magical and warm an experience as the first two were.Trying to inject the tale of "Arthur" into what had been a simple,thoroughly charming, and funny ORIGINAL fairytale, just for the sake of giving Justin Timberlake a role, was a big mistake, and the laughs seemed to be strained for. Still, it was fun, and the life-like quality of the human characters faces was almost eerie, in some cases. Overall, it was enjoyable, and I'd recommend it for seeing with children.
