a GREAT movie compared to its followers. scary movie for fairy tales, and has so many double sided comments that your side will be is stitches most of the movie.
SHREK! Hehe, I love all three. mostly because of the sheer brillance of the jokes. they can be laughed at by children because they are very silly. but then their are the very very naughty lil ones where the adults can have a right giggle. the first one is genius and although im not a fan of eddie murphy, he is hilarious as donkey!!
07-16-08 --One of the first of its kind for Dreamworks. They proved they could do what Pixar did with Toy Story. But this would have more of an adult humor "hidden" for the older audience. You can definately tell that the technology has gotten better from this movie but in order to appreciate the later films its always good to know where they started off. Plus Maddie loves this movie.
Shrek.. Hmm.... AWESOME! It is a great movie I must say and I just well don't know it's an awesome film and I hope you love the trilogy as much as I do.
Hilarious! Best of the three. Love Shrek and Donkeys partnership. Love that how annoying Shrek gets with him, Donkey doesnt mean it. I would hate to be mates with Shrek and Donkey. Because they would be really hard to get on with. As far as Shrek and Fionas relationship is concerned, at first I thought what chance would a ugly, grumpy ogre have against a beautiful princess?! It is quite like Beauty And The Beast. Mike Myers Scottish accent (same voice as Fat Bastard from Austin Powers trilogy) is perfect for Shrek. Cameron Diazs voice for Fiona is brilliant aswell. So is Eddie Murphys as Donkey. One of the funniest family films of all time. I have watched this film more than 500 times before. I think I saw this film at the cinema. When I saw this film trailer when I went to see Monsters, Inc I thought this looks funny but not a classic comedy series of films. But when I watched it I thought it was amazing. That is why this is my second favourite animated film of all time because it is just hilarious. I love the characters of Shrek and Donkey. Shrek is mean and grumpy yet kind-hearted in some ways but Donkey is just really annoying and never shuts up.
Having romance as well as comedy in an animation child story can be for anyone- and make them laugh. Happy, sad, excited, bored and frustrated all at the same time can explain my feelings but I soon becoame bored watching this movie more than once
This movie is also awesome. It WILL be a classic. It's already on its way. I love the graphics, the themes, everything. Love is far deeper than what's on the outside.
Shrek is one of those movies that you just have to watch 1000 times and it never gets old. It is super funny and I think it has a very great plot. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphey and Cameron Diaz are spectacular in this moive. The character "Donkey" is my favorite. Everything he says is super funny and when he is with Shrek and Fiona, there is never a dull moment.
