I've seen it all before- bad acting, young unlikable/shallow college kid characters, stupid jump scares, camping in the woods, etc. Usually I watch movies like this despite how tragically awful they are, but this time I stopped myself and watched something better. It felt good.

  Hmmmmmm, has Pearse Elliott ever tried Magic Mushrooms I wonder? And when did Ireland become 'Famous' for it Magic Mushroom trips? Needless to say, it's all very silly. To be fair though, I liked the talking cow and Paddy Breathnach does genuinely have some impressive director skills (Even though he did direct one of my least favourite films, Blow Dry in 2001); the cinematography is pretty impressive at times. Unfortunately, like many modern horror films, it is ultimately let down by a stupid story, an awful script and stupid actors that can't act.

  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and it was even a little creepy. The story itself was decent enough; a group of friends fly all the way to Ireland to do shrooms and meet up with another friend. They camp out in the woods and find all these shrooms to do. During their shroom trip, crazy things starts happening, maybe they are hallucinating or maybe not. It is low budget, so don't expect too much.

  Well what can i say, i decided to watch this is the dark to give it that extra creep factor and was bored throughout the film! Granted the mystery character thats meant to be killing everyone and it is a creepy character but the rest of the film is a let dwn with so little scares you wonder why its been called a horror movie. basically some american friends go to ireland to meet there other friend to go camping and pick shrooms, shrooms are just magic mushrooms and they all take them but weird things stqart happening and one student can see the future and whose going to die and wen and they cant determine which people are real and which are a figment of their imagination! Its not a great horror at all but has a twist towards the end but isnt really worth the time!

  The very beginning of this films looks quite realistic and gives hope of potential, when within seconds it changes to a very typical teen travelling Horror. Just in case the American teens, along with the Irish friend (who doesn?t actually sound Irish) do not give you the hint that this is based in Ireland, look out for the token Irish Dancers in the airport near the beginning of the film ? there you have it, we are in Ireland! Like many Teen Horrors previously, each of the characters are strategically created to clash with other personalities, which give you a ?been there seen it, kind of feel?. There is a little credit due for the original plot using magic mushrooms which led to some quite good trippy moments, which I won?t spoil for you. All in all, it was an easy watching Horror film with little glimmers of originality, but it really doesn?t offer that much more than any other film within this genre.

  A very average slasher that is a bit of a let down really. Not scary, gory or anything memorable about it and the ending was the only saving grace, but even that was half predictable.

  This films only real redeeming factor is a talking cow. Everything else is horribly simple film making that is incredibly similar to every other stalk and slash film. It's a made for TV film that somehow managed to drag itself onto cinema screens. Annoying American teenagers who don't seem to be friends but apparently are go on holiday and do mushrooms. It could have been a great opportunity for some cheesy horror comedy but instead it attempts to play it straight. You guess the twist in minutes and watch as the characters are killed off. No enjoyment, nothing to say and nothing innovative leaves just a shallow film that is mercifully short.

  This isn't nearly as bad as I anticipated it to be. The story keeps some of its promise all the way through the second reel. The killers' designs are actually interesting and fear-inducing, though the kill scenes themselves are pretty uninspired (most boring and ineffective castration ever too). It's too long a thing to explain how this story could have been salvaged. Simply put, some injection of humor and cliche removal. As a silly ghost/slasher story taking itself soberly seriously though, it's not as bad as most things I endure. I'm actually gonna rewatch this, if only to be scared shitless again by the wolf boy. Retooling the image would require taking a more uniformed approach to camera effects, instead of compiling a diversified packet of "the camera tricks I learned in film school". The "tripping" could have been more consistently rendered and indicated, delineated from other different or "non-tripping" segments. There is no sense of blur or contrast here between "what is the trip vs. what is real" because the filming techniques seem too arbitrary instead of purposed.

  Well it could've been a lot worse. I didn't have very high expectations for this film, which perhaps explains why after seeing it I felt it was 'okay', decent enough but nothing special. The twist was a bit commonplace, it fit in with the mood of the film, but it is a twist that many other films have shown before, (especially over the past couple of years) and so I doubt any viewers were that suprised when it occured. Perhaps one of the problems with this film is the characters. I had no empathy for them (and certainly no sympathy, what do you expect if you pick something off the floor and eat it without checking it past the one person who knows what he's doing?). I didn't hate them either, which means that I cared very little as to the outcome of the film. It did its job of entertaining the viewer for an hour or two, but it's hardly the kind of film that leave the audience thinking about it afterwards.

  A group of stoners being killed one by one by two twin hillbillies not knowing if its reality or hilusination...and being haunted by talking cows. Sounds like a pretty good movie to me...

  It wasn't as scary as I thought...I sort of expected who the killer was early on so it wasn't surprising when the killer was finally revealed towards the end. All the screaming was sort annoying too but there were a few scenes that put me on edge of my seat.

  The standard slasher movie, the only new ingredient were the mushrooms and it's effect. Unsuccessfully scary, predictable, bad acting and it doesn't keep your attention.

  A horror movie I actually found quite good, even if it did have the same old "College students go on a trip and bad things happen to them" plot to it. See it if you like a good, serious slasher flick.
