Played all the games and loved them, they all scare me...the only thing that scares me in the movie is the dialog...its so bad :(

November 1, 2007I find that this film parallels its source material almost a little too well. The movie's predecessor, (Silent Hill game on the playstation 1)is a classic and was a groundbreaking game.The movie rips as much as it can from the game but fails to really invovle the audience, unlike the game which compels you to seek the truth. The movie is a poor substitute for the game and unfortunately does little to nothing to expand it. Watching this is only worth the memory it brings of your first experience in Silent Hill, which should have been with a controller in hand.

September 12, 2007I hated this. It didn't even make sense, and it wasn't scary. By the end you were so tired of it that you just wanted to throw a shoe at the screen. The biggest tragedy of all was that this was a really great idea for a potentially terrifying film: an abandoned and haunted mining town. Perfect. But the film's storyline and boring execution ruined it. It was just a bunch of wierd and mutilated creatures running around against the background of a plot that made no sense and was so complicated in a bad way that it killed the audience through boredom rather than terror. A yawn and a boo for this movie.

July 3, 2007I had to watch this film over several sittings due to the fact that on each occasion this piece of boring garbage caused me to fall into a sleep so profound that even when a group of medical students broke in and performed major surgery on me with a knife and fork - and without anaesthetic - there still wasn't the faintest possibility of waking me up at all!
Was it the tedious slow pace? Was it the boring music? Was it the nonsensical script? Or was it just the lack of any ability demonstrated by actors or director that made this film quite so bad? -
June 11, 2007great movie. idget it at times it was really confusing and that 1 lady....can u say crazy. most of this didnt make since and was easy to make fun of. the whole time mi cuz was like "is she wearing gauchos or a skirt?" and "OMG they got full lockers?" loli luv the part where dark alessa is dancing in the blood i was laughing so hard! let mi kno wat u think or at least explain it to mi in the parts idget thnx bunches

May 9, 2007More than likely the people who asked may or may not see this but about the ending. I belive they are still alive. The reason it went out with them they sorta explained. Only the Deamon can open and close the door to silent hill. When the little girl opened her eyes at the end the the self proclaimed Reaper looked into her eyes the lil girl passed out. I believe the deamon went into the little girl. When they both woke up and left the town the deamon went with Rose inside her little girl. Now weather that means it will spread to wherever they go or thier home in Ohio is now just an extension of the town is hard to say. I figure that is up to the directors and wirters of such movies.
Anyway that is just my opinion. Hope it clears up the fog a bit for some. -
