Artie Baxter, Blake Lively, Bruce Glover

Setting out for a great spring break vacation in the woods, five teens, including Jenny (Blake Lively, TV’s "Gossip Girl," The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 1 & 2), run into local twins Sim...( read more  read more... )on and Stanley (Crispin Glover in a dual role, Back to the Future, Willard, Beowulf, Tim Burton’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland), who recommend a beautiful lakeside campsite. But when one of the friends mysteriously disappears, the others believe they’ve made a grave mistake.

Soon a series of fiendish woodland-man-traps – including one involving death by monster-sized reefer followed by incineration – start picking off the teens. Kate (Margo Harshman, Fired Up, TV’s "Run of the House"), manages to escape but ultimately becomes a captive of the sadistic Simon, who goes solo after dispatching his brother in equally gruesome fashion.

Will the next group of tourists learn to play by Simon’s rules or will the penalty for forgetting to say Simon Says be death for all?

Moron characters that you care about anyway a few minutes before they die, inventive kills, a high gory body count and a demented killer in the form of Crispin Glover.
THIS is how you make an entertaing slasher movie.

One of the worst Horror films ever made! It?s a complete rip off of other teen Horror movies with terrible acting and over the top clichés.

Honestly the chances are you have seen it all before!!

bit of a dog horror. can't even fall back on the "it's so cheesy it's funny and good" line

Pretty fucking awful. Crispin Glover has given some fine performances in the past but what the hell is this? He gives possibly the worst performance of the whole film. It's stupid as hell as well, with the ending seeing a girl burst through a charred corpse and the often mentione...( read more)d magic pick axe machine. It's also pretty sick but not in a good way, although the dog death was hilarious.

Don't get me wrong - Simon Says is an absolutely abysmal film. Everything about it, save Crispin Glover's performance, is complete garbage. It's that bad. But, in being that bad, it has lapped the quality scale four times and ended up as a totally awesome movie. Heat-seeking ...( read more)pickaxes hurled from catapaults, dogs that are actually just furry bags of walking blood, corpses that can hide entire people inside of them . . . it's so terribly, horribly, awfully, unbelievably bad, and yet it's oh, so good. This movie really surprised me. I was expecting a really bad B rated movie but it was very entertaining. Crispin Glover as Simon is nothing but amazingly entertaining. It's an overall fun slasher movie.

The only reason this mess got three stars from me is that just about anything Crispin Glover is in, he is over the top cool. Other than Glover's portrayal of psychotic backwoods twins, this is just another formula slasher in the woods film. It was good to see Crispin's dad Bruce ...( read more)in this film as well as an honorable mention for Greg Cipes as the Spicoli-like stoner dude. Not a bad film to watch on cable or satellite. Simon says is just a silly film, but not horrible. Is a campy & goofy horror film that isn't meant to be taken seriously. It has a slow start, but after 25-30 mins then it goes at a good pace. The film delivers few decent scenes that were entertaining, some nice gory moments, nice setti...( read more)ng & atmosphere in the woods.I was expecting a good performance by Crispin Glover ,who turn out to be good in the film "Willard",but wasn't so good in this film.I can't say much about the rest of the cast & the characters are annoying. The ending turn out to be stupid, perhaps a sequel in mind.50/50 on this film,it could be fun at times & also too silly.

A totally ordinary, been there done that horror flick. Imagine, a group of horny attractive young adults going camping in a remote rural area with a bunch of creepy inbred local residents. Sound familiar?
