It stands to reason that mosquitoes the size of bats need to suck a lot of blood to survive -- and suck it they do in this monster movie set in the desert town of Mesquite. First, the cows drop dead, ...( read more  read more... )and then, local teens disappear as toxic waste turns a stagnant pond into a breeding ground for mega-mosquitoes. Now, it's going to take a lot more than a can of pesticide (think flamethrowers) to rid the sleepy hamlet of the blood-sucking insects.
