I can't say I'm that enamoured with Sleepy Hollow. For me it was the beginning of Burton's spate of disappointing films.
It's better watching it the second time around. Still not as great as I thought it would be, but creepy enough.
The look of this movie is soooo cool and dark I love it for that reason alone, pure Burton visual dynamite. I just think Depp was wrong for the main role, it needed someone more eccentric and kooky like Burton himself haha, but a great homage to Hammer and beautifully rendered.
