If you're looking for a serious genre piece, then Slumber Party Massacre II definitely is not the place to find it (but that can be gleaned rather easily from the title). If, however, you're content with a fun slasher that's gory, cheesy, insanely over-the-top and just dripping ...( read more)with the spirit of the '80s, then you'll find no complaints here. Of course, the performances are wooden and the villain is absolutely ridiculous, but the trick to enjoying this sort of film is to avoid taking it seriously. Just relax, let go, and allow yourself to be entertained.

I'm tempted to give it a positive rating due to the sheer, anarchic insanity the film made me privy to, but I can't overlook how incompetent the vast majority of it is.

Pretty embarrasing to watch but it sucks enough that it is entertaining. The idea behind this film makes no sense and I dont see the point in making a sequel like this. Embarrasing musical numbers, product placement, and comedy cops... holy shit this is stupid

Always good for a nice laugh...and gratuitous nudity.

Although completely unoriginal, the movie had a pretty cool killer, awesomely cheesy lines, terrible acting, so basically anything you'd want from a slasher flick!
