His crazy brother sends him fingernail clippings in the mail. One of his neighbors is a forgetful pot-head, the other a gruff busybody who doesn't miss anything. Across the street live a mother and her fifteen-year-old daughter, whom he likes to watch from his window, but none of these are Franklin's real problem. His real problem is that his landlord is dead, laid out on the linoleum of his kitchen, and Switzerland seems farther away all the time. (c) Official site

Critic Reviews
-
Simon Abrams, Chicago Sun-Times
A toxically quirky black comedy starring a morbidly obese albino who dreams of traveling to Switzerland.
-
Simon Kinnear, Total Film
Jonas Åkerlund's crass, cartoonish comedy about an oddball trying to dispose of his landlord's corpse.
-
David Parkinson, Radio Times
Despite the film's distinctive look and the best efforts of the willing cast, this amusing, morbid and mildly misanthropic mélange always seems to be straining for effect.
-
Rich Cline, Contactmusic.com
Relentlessly quirky and strange, this pitch black comedy manages to combine its outrageous silliness with some surprising emotional resonance.
-
David Jenkins, Little White Lies
When Johnny Knoxville is your MVP, it's maybe time to go back to the drawing board.
