Gerald, a clerk at an ad agency, dreams of meeting the model on the billboard outside his office. When he escorts her out of a disrupted party, he is rewarded with a kiss. But her boyfriend is a violent and uncouth gangster and Gerald soon has a new job - as his getaway driver.
